The project is divided into four parts that aim to use participant-based, immersive and site-specific methods by:

Part 1: Investigating the image of the female body in healthcare and science 

Semi-structured conversations in hospital and university environments with doctors, midwives and researchers and their professional image of the female body. 

Part 2: Investigating the female body's experience of healthcare and the female body 

Builds on the results of part 1. Sauna Workshop: workshop with co-creative women (users) who, in an immersive sauna environment, discuss their experiences of their bodies in relation to the image of healthcare, to phenomena such as Girl Science and spite tracking. The conversations are recorded using binaural sound technology.

Part 3: Turning healthcare into the female body 

Builds on the results of part 2. Sauna installation at hospitals and universities. Healthcare staff are invited into the sauna wagon and take part in an immersive binaural sound installation that portrays the users' stories. In connection with the installation, each work team receives access to working material with reflection questions that are sent back to the project group. 

Part 4: Publicly representing the female body as a playground for life experiences, research and care 

Builds on results from all parts. Performance: Sauna monologue. The female main character portrays healthcare, science, pseudoscience and body experiences in an immersive sauna monologue.

Projektet är uppdelat i fyra delar som syftar till att med deltagarbaserade, omslutande och platsspecifika metoder:

Del 1: Undersöka vårdens och vetenskapens bild av kvinnokroppen

Semistrukturerade samtal i sjukhus och universitetsmiljö med yrkesaktiva läkare, barnmorskor och forskare och deras yrkesmässiga bild av kvinnokroppen.

Del 2: Undersöka kvinnokroppens erfarenhet av vården och kvinnokroppen

Bygger på resultatet av del 1. Workshop Sauna: workshop med medskapande kvinnor (brukare) som i en omslutande bastumiljö samtalar om sina upplevelser kring sin kropp i förhållande till vårdens bild, till fenomen som Girl Science och spite tracking. Samtalen spelas in med binaural ljudteknik.

Del 3: Vården blir kvinnokroppen

Bygger på resultatet av del 2. Bastuinstallation på sjukhus och universitet. Vårdpersonal bjuds in i bastuvagnen och tar del av en omslutande binaural ljudinstallation som gestaltar brukarnas berättelser. I samband med installationen får respektive arbetslag tillgång till arbetsmaterial med reflektionsfrågor som sänds tillbaka till projektgruppen. 

Del 4: Offentlig gestaltning av kvinnokroppen som spelplats för livserfarenheter, forskning och vård

Bygger på resultat från samtliga delar. Föreställning: Bastumonolog. Den kvinnliga huvudkaraktären gestaltar vård, vetenskap, pseudovetenskap och kroppserfarenheter i en omslutande bastuupplevelse-
